Annie D’souza
(Jenny), Director
Jenny completed her graduation and Special Education training. She worked at Asha Niketan for 13 years, the last three as the Director of the community. She joined Liza’s Home, a home for women with intellectual and physical disabilities, and held the position of Coordinator. Jenny’s entire adult life has been devoted to working alongside and sharing her life with members of society with special needs. Her vast experience of 24 years, with differently able members gives her hope and strength to see a better society that includes everyone, with /without Disability.
Sebastian
Workshop Manager
Sebastian completed his graduation in Fine Arts. He has worked for 19 years with differently abled members. Sebastian understands the power of art and colors. He is very creative at work and leads the group to find their skill and creativity. His time in Sandesh has supported us to reach to many friends through our work. He dreams of making Sandesh self-sustainable and to empower each member of Sandesh.
Anil Kumar,
Head of House
Anil completed Fine Arts from Kerala, he has twenty years of experience working with members with special needs. He has worked at Asha Niketan in both Australia and Canada and shares the same passion as his team members. Anil is an extremely talented artist and uses his talent at Sandesh. He has spent time with Brother Mani Karott to understand how Art Therapy can provide benefits to members with special needs. He is a very strong pillar in Sandesh Journey
Nupur Singh,
Public Engagement Manager
A science graduate from MP, Nupur’s desire for a beautiful life for Sandesh members has brought her close to the team. She feels her main responsibility is connecting Sandesh to the outside world and to bring more friends and support to Sandesh. Nupur’s contribution cannot be measured. She has been sharing her time for those with special needs for over 15 years. It’s her passion and love for members of the community that drives her to work and bring more support to Sandesh.
Bro. Mani Karott,,
Our Mentor.
Bro. Mani Karott, is a member of Little Brothers of Jesus. He completed his Bachelor Degree in Mysore University and did Post Graduate Studies in Religion and Sociology in the International Institute of Jacques Maritain in Toulouse, France. He is a Special Educator and a Rehabilitation Therapist. He is specialized in Art Therapy and a Counsellor. Bro. Mani is a mentor for Sandesh right from the inception, he has seen the community grown and is a witness of Sandesh journey.
